{KKS New Release} A Challenge is the Best Medicine!

Oh my goodness!!! This is the set I have been waiting for and wanting since I very first found Kraftin' Kimmie stamps....I have *mentioned* it a few times, like a gentle cramp in the side every once in awhile....and FINALLY, a NURSE image by Annie Rodrigue is HERE!!!!! So tickled pink!! Were you one of the lucky few that tuned in on Facebook and were able to see Annie draw this up in real time? It was amazing!! I am in even more AWE of her now than ever! lol
So, without further ado, I proudly present to you Nurse Nightingale (whom I shall be calling Nurse Jenny in the privacy of my own home;)hehe) Along with a Nurse, there is also a bunch more characters in the newest installment of Everyday Girls (and a few boys;)

Oh yeah- in my excitement,  totally forgot to mention that today is a new challenge! As always, our Annie-Saturday is always a sketch challenge (#129) and this one a keeper, folks! Print it off and file it away, save it to your hard drive....whatever you fancy! Trust me, you'll be glad you did!

Yep- this is totally what I look like when I go to work *wink*....her old fashioned uniform is actually what I like about her best! So Ernest Hemingway!

I used MFT flower dies, SU brads and some neat striped twill ribbon (you can find that here at the Ribbon Carousel) that I thought looked like bandage cloth! I paper-pieced her apron and nurse's cap and just added a bit of depth to her whites, using grey copics.

Here is the inside. I used MFT alphabet dies for the RN and another flower. I sent this to my girlfriend for her birthday, which happened to be smack in the middle of Nurse's Week!

Okay- sorry for the picture overkill!! I'm just so darned excited about this image, LOL!! If you would like to win some Everyday Girls, just leave comments on the designers posts! A few lucky stampers are going to walk away with prizes!
And we'd love for you to play along with us this week..Just link up your cards to the Krafty Blog!
