Today we are showing you some new Lulu images by artist Cheryl Alger. This is a set of three Lulu's (tricycle, hoola hoop, and roller skates), plus six sentiments and it's called Lulu On The Move.
I used a bingo card measuring 5x7" and since that is to big to make a card, I matted it with black CS and fastened a magnet to each corner and it is currently stuck to my refridgerator! I am eventually going to give it to someone, but for now it can greet me every morning!
I combined Lulu with one of the birthday Trinkets that we featured yesterday, this time using the positive image and colouring in bits. It was punched with my SU circle punches and matted on a MFT die and attached with a SU library clip. The larger circle is also from MFT and the ribbon is the gorgeous new Silky Crushed ribbon (in Parrot Green) from Ribbon Carousel. It ties THE most amazing bows...like buttah, I tell ya!! I used some bakers twine for the tassels on the trike handles, and just unravelled the twine, and coloured with the chisel end of a copic marker (the orange and white are the original colour. Then I simply pierced a hole in the end of the handle, and threaded the 'good side' through, fastening the back with double sided tape.
Glaze pen and spica clear glitter pen add some zing, as well as tiny twinkles (TE) as buttons! I added a scattering of freckles to her cheeks and nose using a wine copic mulitliner. I LOVE Lulu with freckles!!
Alright, thats it for me! Check out what the other Krafty Girls have in store for you today, and keep commenting for your chance to win this set!
