Welcome to Day TWO of My Favorite Things Teaser Time! For all those scrapbookers and Project For Life aficionados (I am so wanting to try this- add it to my gazillion page long list of things to do ;) )- These next few sets are FOR YOU! Don't get me wrong- they are great for cardies too, as you can see by the two samples I've made below! Laina Lamb (coolest name ever! lol) has designed two new sets: Journal It: For the Record and Document It: Off the Chart.
For my first card, the focus is Die-namics with just a touch of stamping. I've cut the boy and girl from the Boy Meets Girl die-namic and stuck the smallest heart from the Heart STAX in behind their joined hands. The 'Love this' sentiment was stamped onto one of the flags from the Accent It: Labels and Tabs dies (I shortened it up to fit the sent better) and the 100% was stamped on the circle element from that die set as well. You can see, tucked in behind everything, a very sweet little paper doll chain. The difference? Boy, girl. Boy, girl. LOVE! That's one of the dies in the Boy Meets Girl Die-namic set!!!
Here is the inside....see, that die set is FUN! Just snip off what you need or use the whole border strip! I've used another heart as well and one more of the sentiments that come in Document It: Off the Chart.
Onto my second card. I've used Journal It: For the Record and the new Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose Die-namic along with the Leaf Filled Flourish die-namic. These two dies have seen a ton of use this release.....I highly suggest they make your shopping list!!!
I used some previously released dies as well: Eiffel Tower and LLD Insert It- 3x4 insert (fits the stamps spot on!). Don't the happy couple fit perfectly under the Eiffel Tower and the heart (Heart STAX) tucked in behind? How romantic ;)
I had some bare space up near the top that I wasn't loving and I was getting pretty stumped as to what to put there. Hemp Cord to the rescue! I love what the triple-wrapped bow did for this card! Total save :)
And here is the inside, using another sentiment and more of that adorable Boy Meets Girl border die.
