I know yesterday's previews were really exciting for those of you that are especially fond of colouring (thanks for all of your positive comments- besides the viagra and ativan spam....I don't want either ;). As the die-hard MFT'ers know, Monday is always Pure Innocence Day (is that a National monthly holiday? It should be!! lol!

This month we have TWO new PI's to show you that are equally sweet, but very different!  Read All About It; and Around the World: The Netherlands.

I've used The Netherlands for my card today. We have a large Dutch community here in central Alberta, so I thought it would be fun to use this image :) I think I am going to give this one to one of my 6 yr old sons little girl friends in his grade one class....She'll like this and be able to read the sentiment even!!

I coloured her up with Copics (note the blonde braids- EEK! so cute!). Her dress and hat are paper-pieced and I added shading with my warm grey markers. Look at the wooden shoes. They make me smile...
She was fussy cut and mounted with dimensionals onto a Circle STAX die. Tucked in behind the flourish is a patterned paper die cut from Rounded Banner STAX.
I love the new Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose and Leaf filled Flourish Die-namics. I added a copper brad to the centre. The verse was stamped on a Fishtail Flag STAX Die-namic and I added a Simply Scallops Small strip to the bottom.

If you aren't of the Dutch persuasion, you might be wondering what this sentiment says....I was, so I used Google Translator and it informed me that this means Happy Birthday in English! Sometimes google is so darned helpful :)

Here is the inside of my card. I used the negetive from the Leaf Filled Flourish that I cut from the front and used it to sponge the flourish onto the vanilla CS...I love this look! Another sentiment (there are 2 in English, 2 in Dutch) was stamped with blue ink.

Here are the newest Die-namics that I have used:
