{MFT} New Product Tour

Time for My Favorite Things New Release product tour!!! Everything is available for purchase right HERE in the MFT Boutique! And one lucky hopper is going to win a $50 MFT voucher! You won't know which of the designers blogs the hidden prize is, so be sure to comment on everyone's posts to increase your chances of winning!
Tonight I used Western Sentiments to create a CAS set of three cards. I wanted these to be quite flat for mailing , so there is none of my usual 'pile it on' style ;)

I wanted them to be matching. I used OA's Sasparilla designer paper and brown brads to tie them all into eachother, plus inking with a few different brown inks to add distressing. All of the cards have brown zig zag machine stitching around the edges. Here are some up close shots of each card:

The MFT supplies I used on the three cards are: Hemp Cord, Hot Fudge CS, Country Charms, Fishtail Flags and Layers STAX, Western Star Border Duo, and of course the new Western Sentiments and Large Leaf filled Flourish.

I also made a second card using Cute as A Button PI. I coloured her with pastel pencils (OMG- No Copics to show you today!! lol), which is something totally new to me! I kind of like how it turned out! Very soft and sweet :) Maybe I'll throw together a tutorial if there is enough interest! I could be doing it completely wrong, but I kind of just went for it with no research whatsoever completed! haha....that's kinda how this kid rolls!! Sink or swim, baby ;)

I also used the new Button Border die-namic. You'll see my trusty Fishtail Flag STAX and Layers again :) I also used the Hemp cord again, as well as a Wild Cherry Button. The inside has the new Jellybean Green ink. I stamped the front sentiment in Black Licorice.

This border is so super fun! There are buttons that are separate that you cut and pop up on the main solid layer.

The designer paper is the new October Afternoon Farm Girl pad, which I am seriously having a love affair with ;)
Here are the new dies that I've used:

Check out the MFT BLOG for a list of links to each designer!!
