{SPD} Seaside Wishes

Hello krafty peeps! We are onto another day of sweet sneaks from SugarPea Designs…Today we are showing you a gorgeous beach themed set, Seaside Wishes. I love this girl and there are a bunch of little accessory stamps, as well as SPD's amazing lineup of sentiments, mixing fonts like only Wendy can do!! Again I was challenged to fill in a background sky, and with the help of one of my stamping besties, Tracy V, I managed to somewhat figure it out :) I actually really like the result! Kind of a reverse ombre, dark to light.

I used copics and a wee bit of pastels, and paper-pieced her dress. I added in some white paint pen for highlights.

Here is the inside of the card. I used a nautical Authentique pad, so this is cutesy, but with those really rich red and navy. The ink I used for the sentiments is Memento Luxe Nautical Blue, which is my new fave!!! Seriously folks, that ink is AMAZING! I am going to make it my life's goal to own the whole works!
