{TSG236} Christmas Critters

This week our challenge is brought to us by Vera! She is challenging us to make a card or project with a Christmas theme, but it must include an animal!! Hence the name, Christmas Critters.

I have used my FAVE set of the release 'Merry Christ-moose', combined with the best naughty moose sentiment set of all time 'Nice Rack'. I LURVE this moose trophy head mount, all tangled up in Christmas lights! Too funny! I coloured him up with copics, adding spica pens (silver, lipstick and melon) to the lights and coating them in glossy accents, as well as his eyes.
The sentiment was stamped on the smallest banner from the Just For You die set.
The layout is Mojo 321.

{TSG} Nordic Borders, Merry Christ-moose, Nice Rack

We at TSG love our holiday sets, and we love our animals, too…so whenever they can combine, we are THRILLED.  The new Merry Christ-moose set from Torico is no exception!

Merry Christ-moose is a 4x8 set that includes a total of 18 stamps and will sell for $18.

Made to go along with the Merry Christ-moose stamp set, Nice Rack has all those sentiments that may be a little bit naughty, but are definitely nice.

Nice Rack is a 3x4 set that includes a total of 7 stamps and will sell for $9. 

Torico has also created this GORGEOUS Nordic Borders set as well, which will add a finished, homey feel to any of your creations. 

Nordic Borders is a 2x6 set that includes a total of 3 stamps and will see for $3.

I made an 'ugly sweater' using an MFT die and the Nordic Borders set using Kraft, Red Hot and Gumdrop Green ink (MFT). I then stamped the moose head silhouette (from Nice Rack) in versafine black ink. The sentiment of course, is also from Nice Rack.

{TSG232} Pattern Power

This week our challenge is brought to us by Sarah!  She has challenged us to make a card or project using patterns…dots and stripes specifically. She wants us to use both on our cards or projects!!!

Here's a closeup of the adorable bear from the set Life is A Circus! I pieced his outfit, and added some red brads for the buttons. The sentiment banner is actually a builder stamp, the dots, outline, sticks and words are all separate stamps! I popped the banner up on dimensionals.
For my card layout, I used the sketch from November's SFYTT!

{TSG228} A Toadally Awesome Challenge!

This week our challenge is brought to us by ME! I am challenging YOU to make a card or project using the colours pumpkin, aqua, and chocolate!! 

I've used one of Melyssa's lovely mini sets, Toadally Awesome for my card this week. She is coloured with copics, adding pastel pencils for some more death. I added white paint pen to her and Toad's cheeks, as well as giving her a little extra sparkle in her eyes. I broke the sentiment into two strips and used MFT Fishtail Flags to cut them out. Chocolate jute twine and brads finish it off.

Our first set being released by our new designer Chaitali Narla is Henna Swirls. It will be the most gorgeous addition to your CAS creations, scrapbook pages, and perfect for background building!! There are tons of ways to use these gorgeous borders!

Henna Swirls is a 2x6 set that includes a total of 2 stamps and will sell for $9.00.

I made a one-layer CAS card!! Ack! Armageddon is near ;) 
I stamped the flower border twice, back to back, along the side of the white CS. I coloured with copics, and added glossy accents to the flower centres and white paint pen along the vertical stripes and on the leaves (from the set Dream in Color, as well as the sentiment). I finished off the card by rounding one corner.

I've used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch for my layout. I fussy cut the frame out (which I stamped onto grey dot DP) but there will be a Silhouette cut file available for purchase on release day, for you Silhouette users! I stamped the frame and sentiment again onto white CS and cut out only the centre, laying it over the dp frame with pop dots. The flag dies are MFT. I did some machine stitching in black thread and dry embossing with a SU folder.

I coloured up my witch with copics, and used a multi-liner to draw on some bats and my white sharpie pen to add some lil dots. Other dies are MFT. I added some sequins as well. My sentiment is from the hilarious new set Totally Witchin'.

{TSG} Pumpkins on the Vine

Hey my crafty friends! Today the TSG Trendsetters are spotlighting a few older sets. I chose to work with one of my favourite TSG sets from Torico called Pumpkins on The Vine. I absolutely ADORE this set- it is so precious and has two really great sentiments and all sorts of little accents, as well as three feature stamps. LOVE LOVE LOVE! You have to check it out!

Adorable, am I right?? I paper-pieced her floppy hat and dress and coloured the rest with Copics. I added some glaze pen to her shoes, eyes and the acorn top. I used some new EP paper, SU CS and brown brads. The sentiment was stamped in MFT's Black Licorice.

I've used the adorable set from Melyssa Connelly, Scootin' By. I've coloured, paper-pieced, applied glossy effects, used loose glitter, added spica pen....you name it :D

The banner and arrow dies are by MFT. I thought the paper had the look of tire tracks! I also threw on some black brads for balance.

Have you ever rode a scooter? A girlfriend of mine used to come and picked me up (when I lived in the city, of course! I don't imagine Vespa's are much good on gravel roads! haha)...Anyway, it's THE. FUNNEST. THING. EVER. Hand to God, there is no way you can ride one without an ear-to-ear-grin on your mug the whole time. Talk about bugs in your teeth! We used to ride around (double) and look for real bikers.....as in Harley Davidson, just so we could do the biker wave at them!! And they always waved back, usually shaking their heads at the same time! lol!!! Probably thinking 'look at those idiot girls on the turquoise scooter, thinking they can run with the big dogs'.....Oh how I wish I had a picture to show you!!!! Us with our helmets and googles....

I made a little gifty ensemble that would be great for a sleepover invite, complete with a 'pillow' box to hold a special treat ;) The card was made to look like a pillowcase, with the strip of contrasting DP on the left side and decorative stitching. I used dies by MFT. The DP is October Afternoon. I coloured the girls with copics and added white dots to one of the shirts and their cheeks.
