{KKS} Book Dragon




Welcome Krafty Friends to Day TWO  of our JULY Krafty Previews!!!

Are you ready for another amazing day of July krafty peeks!?
How many of you are readers??? How many people you know are book nerds?? Well we've got a fabulous new stamp set for you in today's preview! We're so excited to share the new set by artist Emilie Goulet called BOOK DRAGON!!
This 3x4 clear stamp set features a gorgeous and magical dragon image PLUS four awesome coordinating sentiments!!! Think of all the opportunities for texture colouring on this fabby guy! He's such fun!


I made this card for my oldest son- he's a HUGE book dragon! He's gonna love this card :) I love the sentiments that come with this set! I added a title to my book using a really fine tip Copic liner. 'The Hobbit' of course! Smaug training perhaps? Those eyes on the grey DP look like dragon eyes as well I think! I love this stamp- It's my favourite of this release!!

{KKS} Patriotic Colours!

Hi everyone! Welcome to another challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!
Our theme this week is 'Patriotic Colours'! So in honour of Canada Day (July 1) or Independence Day in the US (July 4), use either Red and White (Canada) or Red, White and Blue (USA)! 
Even though I'm a Canadian Girl, through and through, I really wanted to make a nautical looking card and I love this great red, white and blue paper! So that's what I went with :) Yesterday I spent Canada Day forcing my kids to help weed flower beds and the garden, then we had a swim in the pool with friends, ate some homegrown rib eye steaks, then went into town for some fireworks! 



I used one of the stamps from the set You're Sun-sational. Such a great summer set!

Did you see the CHRISTMAS IN JULY SALE?!? Starts today!!! Next, Kimmie will be releasing the SURPRISE CHRISTMAS KRAFTY GUEST KIT for preorder! We had such a great time with the last Surprise Guest Group!! And last but most certainly NOT least... PEEKS START NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wednesday to be precise! See ya then!!!

{SPD} Sweet Celebration


Hello Friends! I have a card to share with you today using SugarPea Designs newest release! This card was made using all dies, NO Stamps!! I cut out the popsicle using elements from the SugarCuts die set 'Summer Scoops' and also used 'Celebrate' for the sentiment- I cut 3 of everything to add some dimension. I used Glossy Accents and then lightly sprinkled loose clear glitter on for a sparkly affect. The stitched rectangle is from the set 'Birthday Journal Card' ( <- cool="" cuz="" dies="" font="" has="" in="" it="" nbsp="" need="" of="" tons="" which="" you="">

{SPD} Gift Greetings

So yesterday I gave you a little peek of todays project- it's a fun little gift card holder! I stamped one of the sentiments on the inside, as well as one on the outside.


Here it is, secured. The top part of the button is adhered with hot glue, with the top strings coming out through the upper two holes, and the bottom two holes of the button are left free, so that you can run the bottom strings easily through. Pull tight, and tie a bow and the gift card is closed! Clear as mud? There's a notched cut that you can use, but I found with 2 layers of DP over CS, it was a little too bulky for the tab to work properly.

{SPD} Bring on the Cake/ HB2U





I created a little birthday set with both of these new stamp sets and new (and older) dies! The rest of my gift set will be revealed tomorrow! For now I'll give you a little sneak peek!
I thought this would look neat as a chalkboard art card with the topsy turvy cake and the mixed font sentiment, as well as streamers. The sentiment and cake were embossed but the streamers were just stamped in white ink for a fainter look.
