{SPD} Light it Up Blue for Autism!

I used this stamp from SugarPea Designs (My Hero) that I think is perfect for this hop!  Some of you may know that my oldest son, Ryan, is Autistic. I am very honoured to be taking part in todays hop. to raise awareness for Autism! Things have come along way in acceptance and tolerance of those who are 'different' or 'atypical', but there are still so many who need reminders and education in compassion! We are so blessed to have such amazing friends and family, who show our boy unconditional love! My heart is full! I am so incredibly proud of the bright and caring young man my son is growing into...and I know he wouldn't be where he is today without the support we have received from his school, our family and friends. We have been blessed to chosen to be his parents, and I wouldn't change him for the world, though sometimes I wish I could change the world for him....

I'll be offering up some blog candy too! I'm on Spring Break right now with my family, taking in some end of the season skiing and R and R...So, I'm not sure yet what it'll be, but please comment and I'll choose a winner in the next few days!! {SPD} Maki A Wish!

Hey there! I have a card to share with you today that I made for a special little dudes birthday! I love all of our penguins from SugarPea Designs- this guy from Rice Rice Baby was our very first one! I coloured him up with copics and added some glossy accents to his flippers, beak, eyes and the sushi rolls. I love this DP with all the little fishies on it- perfect!

I'm busy working on a few Easter cards for the family this weekend! This one is either for my bunny bunny or my mom and dad. We shall see :) I used my new Mama Elephant stamps (which I am in LOVE with! I wish I had all their stuff LOL). This set is called Honey Bunny. I used this weeks SSSC for my layout. This weeks challenge is Spring themed! I've used a stamp from the new set Springtime Friends.  I paper-pieced her little shirt and skirt. I added and MFT button and twine bow and the circle dies are MFT as well. 

{KKS} I heart Coffee!

Hey there! I am sharing a card today, that I made for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Wonderful Wednesday! I used the newest stamps and goodies from the Coffee Card Kit! I really hope you all ordered this kit, as it's got some really amazing little trinkets in it, as well as awesome designer paper and CS AND an exclusive stamp!!! I adore this girly, having a 'chunky dunk' in her hot tub full of steaming coffee!!! What could be better!?!?!

{SPD} Spring is in the Air

This week, our SugarPea Designs challenge is all about SPRING! One of the first signs of spring is when my mama starts hanging her laundry on the line! I actually have no clothes line at this house (GASP!)....I know, how awful that I use my dryer in the summer months :/ I feel shame. Anyway, my mom comes from a long 'line' of fresh air launderers....my gramma was even know to hang clothes on the line in the dead of winter, and they'd come in frozen stiff. I never understood that.

I've used the adorable stamp set 'Take a Load Off'. I did quite a bit of paper piecing. I kept the extras to a minimum, just doing a bit of machine stitching and inking. The layout is from the current Deconstructed Sketch #193.

{KKS} March Release Hop!
