{SPD} Advent Calendar HOP!

Advent Calendar Extravaganza is -the- festive event of the season! This ‘hop with a twist’ was dreamed up by Taheerah Atchia and features surprise destinations each day! For my project today, I've made my three little guys some Christmas tags to go on their gifts from mommy and daddy! Every year I usually make ONE set of more 'extravagant' tags for the boys (you never know the fate of a gift tag on Christmas morning, so I kind of would hate to invest a ton of time and work into a doomed outcome! At least if these get all torn up in the excitement, it's not a huge loss LOL)

Ryan- my oldest boy. A worrier at by nature, this elf seemed perfect for him. He often has a look of fret on his face!

Jake- my middle child. He is the most artistic, and even creative of all the kids. Loves arts and crafts....this elf suits him fine!

Hayes- my baby boy. He is small and feisty. Likes to make the rules and control us all, hehe! This little elf has the important job of directing Santa's landing. Hayes loves to feel important too :)

All of these adorable Santa's helpers can be found in the SugarPea Designs set Merry Makers. I conveniently cut them out using the coordinating die of the same name, found HERE. The tag, banner strip, and 'to' are from the Gift Tag die set.

Hi everyone! Welcome to another challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! This week our challenge is to use BLACK and ONE other colour! I chose hot pink!

I've used the stamp: Frosty Friends for my card, trying to colour mostly to match my black and pink theme :) I added lots of glitter and glossy accents. A simple hot pink ribbon finishes the card.

Have I mentioned before how much I LOVE Becky's sentiment sets?? I've used Christmas Cheer, along with some gorg Simple Stories 'Claus and Co' DP. I love how vintage this card came out with the gold glitter paper and gold SU button and black twine.

With all the recent Starbucks Red Cup controversy, I was inspired to create a red cup of my own!  I've used the following stamp set: One Cup At a Time for the 'Red Cup' and the coffee beans,  The Magic of Christmas for the sentiment, and Build Your Own Trinkets for the green embossed snowflake on the sleeve and the 'coffee ring'.....I did both 'dry embossing' with a snowflake embossing folder on the large white portion of the card, and I also heat embossed the elements of the cup, as well as the black sentiment.

{SPD} 'Merry Makers' Sweet Peek!

EEK! I love this new set from SugarPea Designs called Merry Makers! These happy little elves are sure to make you burst with the Christmas Spirit!! I cut both the image panel and the main DP panel using Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles.  He's coloured with Copics and I added glossy accents and loose glitter to the lights. I tied hemp cord and a green button to accent. 

Remember our entire Holiday Product Release will be available for purchase in the SugarPea Designs Store on Friday, November 6th at 6:00 PM EST!
