{SSSC} Wish Big

Hey there! Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I can't believe my oldest boy is turning eleven on Monday!! *sniff sniff* Seems like only yesterday he was a roly poly little tyke…

Here's my card for this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. I've used Tallulah Has A Tutu from Stamping Bella. I love this stamp! I added a sentiment from the set Storybook by Avery Elle. I think it suit the stamp LOL! I coloured with Copics and added glossy accents to the balloon and polka dots on the tutu and some glitter to her crown and underside of the tutu. Die are all MFT. I added some black machine stitching to join the DP patterns together.

Here is your sketch for this week:

{SSSC} The Right Shoes

Hey there!! I'm a bit late with my SSSC post ;) Haven't quite gotten fully back in the swing of routine! Kids start up school tomorrow, so I am thinking that might help get my act together!
Sadly, we are saying goodbye to two of our Sweet Sisters: Jackie Pedro and Karen Motz. I'm super sad to see these talented stampers leave our team, but they can't get rid of me that easy! I'll be following their lovely work, as I'm sure you all will as well! So long for now Jackie and Karen!

I received an order from Stamping Bella awhile back and thought this vertical panel would be perfect for The Right Shoes. I am pretty rusty on my skills due to taking a lot of time off from crafting in December :/ This card could have came out wayyy better. It seemed like one screw up after another. I am hoping I'll get the hang of it again soon! LOL! Plus, I think twiggy legs just throw me ;) Not used to that!

I used lots of Wink of Stella on the big bows, then went over them with a touch of gold stickles, glossy accents and loose glitter. I also applied glossy accents to the rest of the shoes. I used red and gold glitter paper and some black enamel dots.

Anyone recognize the red bottom pumps? hehe! I adore the look of heels, but sadly my post-children feet are not built for them anymore! So I have to admire from a distance ;)

The inside of the card is where I stamped the sentiment.

{SSSC204} I Miss You

ERMAGERD!!!!!! Meet Mimi! Is this the cutest little chick you ever did see or what??! I bought this second hand from a friend (but you can find it brand new HERE). I loved adding the glossy accents to her big ol' spectacles!! She's of course coloured with copics, with a bit of pastel added in for depth of shading. The polka dot die background is MFT. CS is MFT and SU. I added some enamel dots and used a few DP scraps. Easy Peasy.

Close-up of them honkin' glasses!!

Here's the sketch for you to try! As you can see, I flipped it to work for my vertical image.

{C4C217} Happy New Year!

Hey there!! I am so excited to be this months Guest Designer at Crazy 4 Challenges (C4C)! So every Saturday in January, you will be seeing a new C4C card from me! This week's challenge is a New Year's Inspiration~ Happy New Year! Be inspired by this photo – the subject, colors, accents, or theme – whatever speaks to you!

Here is my card, inspired by the lovely photo you see above!

Perfect opportunity to ink up this Uptown Girl from Stamping Bella. I am an Uptown collector, but this is the first ever in my stash to see ink! GASP! This is Opal the Optimist.... I used gold and silver CS from SU, a Taylored Expressions cutting plate, MFT flag die and some little glitzy faceted gemstones. She is coloured with Copics and I've added Spica pens, Rock Candy glitter and Glossy Accents.

{SFYTT June} Pretty Poppy

Oops- almost flubbed up again with Jen's SFYTT! I've had this card made for over a week, but with all the things happening lately, I completely forgot to post it! (did just that last month and missed out at the chance for the big prize package at the end:( )
So here it is using a Stamping Bella image (Jen's sponsor this month):

I coloured her with copics, adding spica clear glitter pen to bits of her dress, headband and flower centers. I adhered SU! rhinestones to her shoes, headband and on the card panels. Some black satin ribbon (SU!) in a nice, big bow finish it off:)

I stamped the inside with a PTI handwritten sentiment set. The paper is an old SU pack (rockabilly, I think), and all the CS is Stampin Up! as well.
