I am so excited about this release...(hey, didn't I say that about the last one? They are just all that good!)
Today we are giving you a peek at the uber-cute set Snow Day, featuring our very mischevious little long-eared bunny;)

Spot a new Cutup, do you? YES!! That's the new Snowflake Paper Cutup die! And see all the cute little shite snowflakes that are set on top of the Snowflake Cutup? They are the little negetive bits that are the perfect size for adorning your cards!
The espresso button is tied with the one and only TCP linen thread (in ivory)....
And I used the Icing cutup along the edge as well:)

{Krafty Hop} I'll Put A Spell on You

I used a crazy- wicked new stamp, Voodoo Lady, by the amazingly talented Annie Rodrigue! I must admit that I was a little nervous about colouring this spell spinner, but it actually was really fun and I like the way she turned out!

{Kraftin' Kimmie Release} Annie's Goth Girls!

Hello, Hello!!! Are you ready to rumble???? Hahaha- I am just a tad bit excited, because this is probably my FAVORITE Annie Rodrigue release OF ALL TIME!!!!! And if that doesn't get your heart beating a little faster, then I'm afraid that you might have a pacemaker installed that your family hasn't informed you of (and stay away from airport security metal detecters;)
Okay people- feast your eyes on this little number:)

Good Land, isn't she just the cutest thing going! I hope she knows her mushrooms, cuz some of those aren't for eatin'!! But she looks like she knows her way around a forest;)

This sentiment is so sweet too- LOVE it!!

{Kraftin' Kimmie Release} Canine Capers

Whoo Hoo- Day TWO of Kraftin' Kimmie's new release previews. Today we are showcasing some four-legged friends, designed by the talented Emilie Goulet, called Canine Capers 2. Her images are always so fun and different:)
This little guy that I'm showing you today has a touch of, what I like to call, SMS (small man syndrome)...What he lacks in stature, he makes up for in attitude. Kinda like my Mother-in-law;) Small, but fiesty!
Just look at his little strut!

Here is a close-up of Pooch's colouring- my hubby thought it was pretty good...I had to explain to him a few times that this is the blending from those super-expensive markers I have;) I took my copic multiliner and doodled around the outside for some added interest. It was missing a little somethin' somethin' and the doodling did just the thing for the white overload.

Weiner dogs always have think they can run with the big dogs! My friends weiner dog can jump the baby gate!! Hahahaha!!!!
I cut the sentiment using MFT's Dog Tag dienamic (fitting, I'd say) and hung it, and a little charm from Tim Holtz from a suede leather ribbon with TCP's linen thread.  I really like it! And I struggle with finding a spot on cardfronts for sentiments....
I have no idea where this paper is from...I've had it for ages and when I was frantically tearing through my dp storage unit the other day (looking for something totally unrelated to this card), I came across it and thought that it was perfect for this 'bad to the bone' little rascal;)

{Kraftin' Kimmie Release} Snips and Snails

Today, the Krafty Girls and Guests (Yay- that's me;), are previewing KKS Cheryl Alger's Snips and Snails. I love Cheryl's spindly-legged, knock-kneed little cuties!
This little fella playing with his new pup, can't help but put a smile on your face:)

Hi there- thanks for your lovely comments on this card so far:):) I've had a few questions about the banner...Although I wish I could tell you that I am super cool and made the banner, alas, it is just designer paper!! Stampin' Up (can't remember the name, but it's the one with the circus theme) to be exact! Just goes to show you what a great paper can do for a card!!

{TCPTUES185} A Cute Couple

Hi there! Today is Tuesday- why so excited about a Tuesday you ask?? Well, in the wide world of stamping, Tuesday is a pretty important day of the week! It's TCPTUES....And who doesn't love The Cat's Pajamas?? An amazing company that sells some of the cutest stamps on the planet- and at a good price to boot!

Leigh is our hostess with the mostess, and she has designed another fabulous sketch for us to work with!

I used a combination of two stamp sets for this card.....The boy and the sentiment are from the set Like You A Latte, and the little girl is from You Suit Me.

The kids were stamped with memento ink and coloured with copics. Spica clear glitter pen was added to the steam and the hearts on the mugs. I also added dimples to their cheeks with a white gel pen. They were then cut out and popped up on dimensionals and attached to the spellbinders panel (which was embossed with a circle folder for more texture).

The Snowflake cutup die was cut from sticky paper and covered with microfine glitter in turquoise and lime (the inner, diamond shaped pieced weren't popped out of the diecut). The sentiment was stamped and then cut out using the banner from the Easy Rosettes cutup.

{TSG130} Recipe Challenge

Hi there!
This week our challenge is brought to us by our Senior Trendsetters. The week before release week there will be a TSG (Again!) week where we will be featuring cards/projects/tip sheets/etc. on the TSG Blog that use our fabulous older TSG stamp sets. This week the challenge is to create a card or project with the following recipe: A snowflake and a bird (it must have both images), and at least one kind of ribbon or a button.

Okay- I am relatively new to TSG and so I don't have these older sets that the Senior Trendsetters are using, but I played along anyway, making a fun a fun Christmas tag using No Peeking (sorry, currently out of stock) from the last release. I used the partridge and the snowflake from the set!

I stamped the snowflakes in white craft ink, and inked the edges of the crumb cake cs triangle and embossed using iridescent ice powder (SU). The crumb cake and olive 'tree' tag base were cut using TCP's Pennant Cutup die. The tree was cut from chocolate chip cs using MFT's tree dienamic. I inked the tops of the branches to look like snow and I applied stickles to the ground and sprinkled chunky glitter (SU) on top. The bird was stamped on crumb cake cs and coloured with copics, spica being added to the beak and leaves in buttermilk and mint. A big red SU button was threaded with hemp twine and adhered, and the ribbon (SU) at the top of the tag was threaded through a large eyelet (SU) and tied with more hemp twine. Behind the green layer of CS, I added 2 layers of thicker kraft paper (the kind that comes behind your paper packs- keep that stuff!) to make it more sturdy for adding to a prezzie:)
I love the way the triangle-tree shaped tag looks, so you can bet I'll be using this idea again real soon!
