{KKS} Day Three!

{TI} Fab Friday

Hey there! Wow! I am just blown away by the amount of lovely comments on my blog hop post, earlier today, from all of the Tiddly Inks fans out there!! Thanks guys! You made my day :D

I'm back with a Fab Friday post for you...our theme is Anything Goes!! 

I used the cute Beach Babe Wryn. She's available as both clear and digi in the Tiddly Inks shop!

Of course she is coloured with copics and pastels. Bright colours, bakers twine and a lime green button make the card super summery! The sentiment comes with the set! Can you believe I had this image coloured before I even picked out the paper?!? A perfect match! That never happens!

{KKS} Peeks Day 2

Welcome back, to DAY TWO of the Kraftin' Kimmie August release peeks!! Today we have TWO sets from the talented Cheryl Alger for your viewing pleasure: Hey, Ghoulfriend and You're Fang-tastic!!

For my first card, I'll be showing you a card made from the Hey, Ghoulfriend set. I used this sweet trick-or-treating kitty, whom I now refer to as lil' Kim (No, not the rapper, but one of my stamping besties and KKS teammates, Kim O'Connell. Coincidentally, she also has a fair bit of cat-itude)......
I pieced her stretchy catsuit with animal print paper from BG's Little Black Dress- an oldie, but a goodie!

I used some MFT dies (scallop border, pumpkin charm and sentiment tab). I used a vinage faceted button from SU, and SU rhinestones on her collar. I tied some natural black jute twine through the button and around the band. I added glossy effects to her ears, tail, shoes and the pumpkin pail. Everything was inked with Distress Ink in Antique Linen. The sentiment was stamped with MFT's Black Licorice ink.

Up next I have a card featuring Super Lucas from You're Fang-tastic, that I think would make a great Birthday card! See, this set is so versatile, it doesn't have to be all Halloween cards!

I used some fun superhero themed paper from Pebbles. MFT's city skyline dies lend to the Clark Kent feel of the card....I also stamped the sentiment in an MFT speech bubble die. A swoosh with a yellow copic marker higlights the words. Superboy is coloured with copics and pastels and his cape and emblem were given a shiny dose of glossy effects. His cheeks are a wee bit rosy, but he has been doing a fair bit of crime fighting, after all ;) Jumping tall buildings and such!

{TI} August Release Blog Hop!

Oh My Goodness! I'm super-excited about tonight's post, as it marks my first release as a member of the Tiddly Inks team!

For my card today, I've used the new set I Wuf You (which is available as a 4x6 clear stamp set for $9, or a digital stamp version for $4). I coloured her with Copics and pastel pencils. I added white dots to her skirt (to mesh with the white and red dot DP) using a Sharpie white paint pen. I also added some highlights to the puppies wet noses and her eyes. The designer paper is Simple Stories. I added a large teal button tied with black jute, and a few big black brads. The flag dies are by MFT.

{KKS Peeks} Day One

Hey there! Today is our first official day of Krafty Peeks from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps August release! Today we have two sets to show you from Nicole Aspinal: From Beyond the Grave and Time for A Coffin Break!

My images are coloured with copics, and I added spica glitter pens and glaze pen here and there. The circles were cut using MFT's Circle STAX dies. I added two big brads to an extra strip of DP from my Krafty Kardmaking Kit (see yesterdays post). I used an embossing folder to mimic the look of cauldron bubbles on the white BG.

{KKS} Krafty Kardmaking Kits!

I've used Kraftin' Kimmies Batty and Catty (and it's $8!!! This is a stamp that you can add to your kit!), coloured her with copics and pastels and sponged the edges of my X-press It Blending CS (my own product- not included in the kit). The orange punched circles behind the Twinkle Goosebumps came from the large orange circles of the main DP (I punched from behind the chevron DP, so that the holes are all covered up :) ) I added black matting to my panels using my white X-press It CS coloured in with the chisel end of my black copic around the edges. Same for the large open scallop die cut strip.

{Tiddly Inks} Birthday Bash!

Have you heard the news??!! I was selected to be one of the newest members of the Tiddly Inks Design Team! I tried out this past month for their open call and LET ME TELL YOU, there were some amazingly talented women who submitted cards!!!!!! I really was not banking on being chosen with the serious competition and am so honoured and humbled to have been asked! Christy Croll is an amazing illustrator and seems like a pretty cool chick to boot, and the rest of the team has been so welcoming! I look forward to getting to know the team better, as well as TI fans!! I am still pretty new to Tiddly Inks but so far I am LOVING this company :D

Our challenge this week is BiRtHdAy BaSh!!! I had lots of fun making this sweet birthday card using Wryn Birthday Girl (I {HEART} Wryn!!)

I used this weeks MOJO sketch #305 (it's a prize week! whoop!) for my layout. The little sentiment oval comes with the Wryn digi, so that went perfectly with the sketch! Everything is coloured with copics and I added some distress sponging and machine stitching to the main image panel. I also added some jumbo black brads and SU black satin ribbon.
