{SPD} Have a Rice Day

Ack! Is this not the cutest penguin-sushi set out there? Well, it might be the only one...but if not, then it's still the cutest! My littlest boy loves this guy and wants to name him after himself! So around here, we're calling this guy Sushi Chef Hayes! It's actually called Rice Rice Baby, but don't tell Mr. Hayes that ;) 

This little fella has the FUNNIEST sentiments to go with his good looks!! You are gonna love him! I coloured with copics, and added some glossy accents to the nose and feet. Dies are by MFT and TCP. The button is OA and I added some black jute twine and sequins. The DP reminded me of the Karate Kid movie for some reason! lol!

{SPD} Perfect Pair

Today we have a really fun set to show you from SugarPea Designs called Take a Load Off. This set comes with a large main image and then a bunch of add-ons and sentiments. I used the little socks to make my focal point. A bunch of boring old white socks and some bright and crazy ones in the middle....I doodled on them with a copic multiliner to make the patterns and coloured with copics. The layout is the Deconstructed Sketch 139. I used some fun DP to mimic the crazy prints on socks.

{TI} Seeing Green....

Hey there! Time for another Tiddly Tuesday! This week our challenge is Luck O The Irish...use GREEN on your project! I don't find green the easiest family to colour with , so this really was  a bit of a challenge for me :) But I love making lil rascal cards, and this wild one was so fun to colour! He is King of The Wild Ones and he's only $3.00!! Scoop this digi up! You won't regret it! And he's also available in a clear set, if that's more your fancy....

Here's a close-up. I've added some gold stickles to his sceptre and crown. The sentiment is from a There She Goes set and I stamped it three times in SU's Lucky Limeade ink, not re-inking in between to get that gradient effect. SOme wonky machine stitching finishes it off!!

{SSSC} SugarPea Birthday

I love this week's SSSC (#209) for a few reasons- it's got a big ol' rectangular panel that's great for larger images which are my fave to colour, AND it's a really clean layout...so your coloured image is going to be centre stage and not risk getting shown up by loads of elements! A perfect recipe for colouring enthusiasts!

I used the SUPER adorable stamp A Bushel and A Peck from SugarPea Designs. Love this set because there are just soooo many options!! TONS of sentiments that you can combine and switch around to make the perfect card, PLUS five different basket 'fillers' and this cute image as well as a flag. A very versatile stamp set for an exceptional price if you ask me!!
