{PPC/Xyron} Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Perfect Paper Crafting and Xyron blog hop!

I have a really fun and regal card to share with you today! I've used products from both of these amazing companies (which I'll chat about a bit later) as well as some great die cuts from Reverse Confetti: Tag Me, Too confetti cuts, Arrow confetti cut (with the centre fletchings cut out), and Love Note confetti cut (also what I cut the scallop border from).

I used a circle embossing folder on the cream panels and sponged distress ink to soften everything up. I cut the scallop tag again from vellum and loosely adhered it to the cream tag. Those gorgeous gold words were cut from gold foil paper and then ran thru the Xyron 2.5" Create a Sticker to get easily adhere them to the vellum! No mess- easy peasy!

I always use my Perfect Paper Crafting Mini and Perfect Cutting Mat to achieve those perfect layers. My preference is a 1/16" border, but you can choose one of many options, all with the same tool! Use Jenny5% to get a discount in the store :)

{KKS} August New Release Hop!

 We're so excited! It’s our AUGUST RELEASE Day at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!! And we’re celebrating with a KRAFTY HOP!! So grab yourself a cuppa joe, sit back and be prepared for some krafty eye kandy! We're going to inspire your creations with our fun, new stamps!

And of course, we are SO excited to share TWO new WICKED stamp sets from Annie called....DRAGON QUEEN and VAMPIRE QUEEN!

I chose to use Lexi baking some delicious pumpkin (maybe?) pies. I'd take an apple too ;) She's from the set Hey There, Punkin! I coloured her with copics and pastels. I added some machine stitching and sponging around the edges. I used some MFT dies and popped a twine bow button down in the corner. I used my handy Perfect Paper Crafting mini tool, to get my perfect 1/16" border around my patterned paper. Use Jenny5% at the checkout to recieve your discount! {KKS} Vampire Queen

Welcome back to Day TWO of the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps AUGUST previews!!! We are continuing on with the creativity and fun with two frightening new Moonlight Whispers stamp sets by Annie Rodrigue!! We think you'll agree that these new stamps are WICKED!!

Today the Krafty Girls and I are thrilled to share with you....VAMPIRE QUEEN and DRAGON QUEEN!! You'll find so many gorgeous creations on today's hop featuring both new images and sentiments from the set! We know you are just going to LOVE these awesome ladies and be inspired by all the incredible designs!! Each set comes with the fabulous queen image stamp, plus THREE coordinating sentiments PLUS an accessory stamp!! They're spook-tacular!

I've used Vampire Queen and coloured her with Copics, adding glossy accents, clear glitter and pastels. I've done some distressing along the paper edges and tucked in behind her, you'll see a gold foil paper spider-web die (MFT die). I added the spider to the front, and adhered some TE red tiny twinkles to the eyes. I also added some gold and black tiny twinkles here and there. A rustic black jute twine topped with a grey adhesive back Prima crystal finish off this card. One of the little sentiments is stamped down in the corner.

{KKS} Trick or Treat, Smell my Feet!

{SPDSS09} Gnome Sweet Gnome

Hey there! Today I have a fun card to share with you that features a really great stamp set from SugarPea Designs….I am so excited because, even though this was one of SPD's very first sets from our first release, this is the first time that I've inked up the door from Gnome Sweet Gnome…..a lot of 'firsts' there!! ;) 

I am honestly tickled with the way this came out….I love challenging myself to colour things that are outside my comfort zone (which consists of mainly human characters and nothing else!)…..a door is not something that I thought I would enjoy colouring. But I DID! I did a LOT! And guess what else? Doors take less time to colour than a person with 500 different sections of hair! Victory!!  For the inside of the card, I used just the gnome character that comes with the set, just to tie in the whole 'gnomey' sentiment, so the recipient doesn't think I'm strange;)

{SPD} Sweet2Repeat August Blog Hop

Welcome to the SugarPea Designs Sweet2Repeat blog hop!

Today all the SugarPeas are hopping, showing off even more ways to use the FABULOUS July release - Seaside Wishes, Great Catch, Spare Me and Twinkle Twinkle. We know you’re going to be inspired!

I've used Twinkle Twinkle on my card today. I've accented with enamel dots, machine stitching and MFT dies/twine. I sponged a cloudy sky using MFT die and SU ink. My DP is by MME, as well as those enamel dots.
