{KKS} Let's Roll, Dude!

Hey everyone!! Welcome back to day TWO of our JUNE Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! Have you been enjoying the peeks so far?? All of our brand new rubber stamp sets will be released on Saturday night!

One of the biggest requests I get for stamps is sets for boys/guys/men!! Well, today we are SO thrilled to share this fabulous set of stamps by artist Emilie Goulet, perfect from all the boys in your life! It is called LET'S ROLL, DUDE!! This fun set includes THREE main images plus SEVEN perfectly coordinating sentiments!! They are awesome!!!

{SPD} Beary Special Baby

Hello Friends! Today myself and the rest of the SugarPeas have a little hop in store for you! Every other month we showcase the stamps and dies that were released the previous month- this is called the Sweet2Repeat blog hop! The project that I have made for you includes tons of SPD products, and I sure hope you like it! It was such a fun card to make!

I just love the set Welcome Baby, and Welcome Baby Accent sugar cuts dies. I did something a little different and added the head of the teddy bear from the set Bee My Honey (our May Sweet Incentive Program stamp set) and adhered to the onsie. I used the 'For a beary special' from that set as well, and cut the word 'baby' from Baby Diaper Pin sugar cuts. The sentiment flag and wee star are from Gift Tag sugarcuts, and the tag that I adhered the onsie to was cut using the Brainy Bookmarks die, just trimming it down a bit in length!

 I did some machine stitching, and added a mini wooden clothespin and hemp twine. I also distressed my papers with TH Frayed Burlap ink. I entered this card into the last Deconstructed Sketch challenge....

You'll find so many amazing creations on today's hop featuring both new images and sentiments from this sweet summer set! We know you are just going to LOVE these beauties and you'll be inspired as you check them out today!! Each set comes with the two fabulous image stamps, three awesome accessory stamps plus EIGHT coordinating sentiments!!

Oh my jeepers, this one is a FUN one to colour!!!! I used copics glossy accents and some loose glitter to make her into a rock star divalicious mermaid! I love her funky hair, summer cocktail and tied up t-shirt!!

I've used a set from Krafty Girl Becky Pearce, called Hello, Friend! These sentiment sets make creating a card so quick and easy! With some great dies and patterned paper, I was able to pop this card out in about 15 minutes!!!

***Announcement! The official date for our Fall Krafty Krop (theme to be determined) is Saturday, September 12th!! Spots are extremely limited as this will be at Kimmie's home & Krafty Kave! Please message Kimmie right away to reserve your spot... a deposit will need to be made closer to the date. {SPD} Let her sleep...

I've used the SugarCut-Welcome Baby Accents baby onsie die to make this sweet card! I also cut the focal panel designer paper using the Heart Journal Card die. I added some cream lace, natural twine and machine stitching. I tied a mini button around the waist of the onsie for a little girly detail ;) The Echo Park DP and enamel dots can be found HERE.

{KKS} Summer fun!

Hi everyone! Welcome to another challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today's challenge is SUMMER!! Although here in Alberta, even with the gorgeous weather we've been seeing lately, it isn't quite what I consider summer just yet! the kids still have almost a month of school left!

One of the best things about summer is golfing! I love golfing, so this guy is right up my ally! he's from the set Wild and Crazy Guys. I added in some MFT flag dies and twine, as well as dry embossing on the yellow strip, machine stitching and called it good!!! I love masculine cards, as they don't need a bunch of frou-frou! Dontcha love his little argyle paper-pieced shirt?

{SPD} Flashback Friday

Hey friends! Today I am being featured on the SugarPea Designs blog! Each week, SPD features a card using one of our 'older' stamp sets....there are so many new and exciting sets available from SPD, but we don't want you to forget about the oldies! It's time for Flashback Friday!!

I used one of our very first sets, Pizza My Heart! I fell in love with this portly pie maker instantly. For a few reasons.

1) I love pizza. I mean LOVE it. More than I should. 

2) Men cooking!? 'Nuff said. 

3) Moustaches are cool.

Card details:
I stamped in a light tan colour, trying my hand at the 'no lines' colouring that's taking the stamping world by storm. I used copics and a wee bit of pastel pencils for shading, and paper pieced his fat man pants.
For a pop of red, I tucked in a paper doily behind the main panel. You can find those HERE.
I used TH Distress Ink and lightly sponged around the edges and used my machine to straight stitch.
The crust, pepperoni and green peppers (as well as his eyes and buttons) all have a touch of glossy accents added to give some texture. I dabbed it on the pizza, just to give a bit of rough shine.
