{SPD} Life's A Beach

We've got a new sketch challenge this week at SugarPea Designs!

I've used the set Seaside Wishes on my card today. I stamped in a light ink and coloured with copics. This is technically not the 'no-lines' technique, as you can still see the caramel coloured memento ink that I used. Typically I'll stamp off the image once and use the second stamped image, but this time I just used full strength ink, hehe! I added some glossy accents and loose glitter to mimic sand and the shine off wet seashells....

The rules are very simple…

• Create a new card or project using the SugarSketch provided.  SugarPea Designs stamps are NOT required to play along or to win but would be appreciated 
• You may rotate/flip the sketch & replace shapes – so long as the original sketch layout is recognizable.
• Upload to your blog or other Online Gallery using Keyword: SPDSS28 so that we may check out your beautiful work.
• Add your name and link to your project in the InLinkz shown HERE.
• One randomly selected winner will receive a $10 Gift Certificate to the SugarPea Designs Online Shoppe. However, if the winning entry features a SugarPea Designs stamp we will increase the prize to $15

{SPD} Bus Driver Gift Tag

Just sharing a quick gift tag that I made for my boys' bus driver as an 'end-of-the-year' gift! I added into the drink cup: a chocolate treat, coffee card and a small hand lotion.

Welcome to our second Creative Color Challenge!   Thanks to those who participated in our first challenge!  It was great to see your participation!

Are you ready to see the newest color palette?  Bowls of sugared summer berries are the inspiration for this month’s color challenge!

I used the following sets: Welcome Baby and Wanderlust.  And Sugarcuts dies: Welcome Baby Accents, and Gift Tag.

{KKS} June Release Blog Hop

Woohooooo!!! We're so excited! It’s our JUNE RELEASE Day at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!! And we’re celebrating with a KRAFTY HOP!! So grab yourself a cuppa joe, sit back and be prepared for some krafty eye kandy! We're going to inspire your creations with our fun, new rubber stamps! 

Over the last few days in our Krafty Peeks, we have shared lots of amazing creations featuring new stamp sets from all of our artists for our June release! I've used Believe in Fairytales! He's coloured with copics with some clear Wink of Stella applied to various parts of his armour, shield, sword and feather. I added some big silver brads. The edges were distressed with Frayed Burlap TH ink. Rectangle STAX dies are by MFT (stamped panel and black matte panel).
