At the end of the week, they ask new designers to showcase these sets....I am playing along this week, and I chose the sweetest little love-pups from the Puppy Love set:)
I know I've made the DH a couple of valentines..but this is THE one! I promise;) hehe.....We are high school sweethearts and I think we both suffered with a serious case of puppy love back in the day;)
I added the dog holding the heart to the other image, stamping it and fussy cutting, then popping up on dimensionals beside the boy dog;) I coloured them with copics, adding tiny twinkles to 'his' collar and buttermilk spica pen to 'hers'. Glaze was applied to their noses and the heart.
I wonky stitched around the base, as well as the smaller panel, and some random zigzags were added the the circle panel. I used an SU embossing/cutting heart folder and topped it with a pawprint button tied with a SU linin thread bow.
Here is the inside, using another puppy image and the sentiment was stamped on the sign after colouring! I used two different paw print stamps, the big set his and the small set hers;) I'll still be able to write over top of the pawprints if my love letter gets to lengthy;)
Here is a close up of that super sweet sentiment:):) I LOVE the way this card turned out and I am so excited to give it to my hubby!! This time I'm actually gonna write in it and put it in an envie!!
Check out the TSG blog for more inspiration:)
*****Okay- here's your chance for some CANDY!!!!!!!!!!*****
That's right peeps- I am having my first ever BLOG CANDY GIVEAWAY!!!!!!!!! Starting with TSG's Puppy Love! So, here are the deets: You have to leave me a comment telling me something about a love in your life...doesn't have to be a significant other, I know Valentine's Day can be crippling for some;)...it can be anything! Cupcakes, campfires, AC/DC, wool socks, The Bachelorette...anything that you love at the moment! Actually, if you write The Bachelorette, I'll probably remove your comment- I hate that reality TV stuff;) hehe!! And one comment per person please (duplicates will be removed)!

And finally, I have to have a way to contact you...so leave me an email if I can't find you through your blogger profile. And I'll ship to ANYWHERE! There's nothing I hate more than being excluded from contests just because I live in Canada!
I'll leave the contest open until next Friday and then I'll announce a winner shortly after that!
As always, I appreciate each and every kind word from all of you! Good luck!

What a super cute card! i just love the bright colors of your card. The image is super cute and the perfect paw button adds the touch.
My current love right now is chatting with my sister. We are living far away from each other and I enjoy our chats especially we are sharing the same passion in crafting.

ok, yes, i'm a dork, i deleted my other comment because i forgot to say what i loved! ugh! besides your card, that is! i love your rich coloring - such an adorable card! now, what i love is the fact that i'm leaving for a scrapbook retreat in 4 hours! much needed R&R!
I love this card the puppies are so cute and cuddly. I know this sounds corney but I really Love my husband! He is best man I have ever known.I had a stroke in june that changed our lives. He has been there for me through it all. even though I can't work now and we have 3 teens still at home. I love this man so much it hurts! thanks for having the give away.
Other than family, singing is the love of my life. I have certain points of achievements that I want to reach and have reached. I don't want to be a recording artist or anything like that (so no American Idol or any of the singing competitions), I just like to know that I didn't imagine my own skill and that the many years of voice lessons were worth it.
I really love this card! The papers, your layout, and of course, the doggies make it fantastic!
As for the love of my life, I have to say it is my hubby, Don. He is so supportive of my hobbies. He's a paper scale modeler and totally understands when I need more paper, supplies, tools, etc! He even takes me shopping and doesn't rush me! :)
Thanks for the chance to win!

Oh my gosh, your card is super duper cute! My current love/passion is performing for veterans.
I so not need this set, but I DO need to tell you how freaking ADORABLE it is!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
You have TWO of these??? I can't *imagine* doing anything like that - I keep a meticulous list of what I purchase and have NEVER bought two of the same thing...NEVER. ;)
This is a pretty cute set - wonder why *I* don't have it yet? Well, you know what I {LOVE}?? I {love} spending time with my family and friends - with coffee, preferably.
You've done a delightful job with this card, my friend - well done!
So adorable! I love how you put those two together...
....life, hmmmm. While I am stamping and coloring in my corner of the living room, my DH is playing video games on the TV and my son is playing Lego's. We each do our own thing in the same space for hours.
I LOVE your card, JP, & NEED this stamp set in honor of my pain-in-the-rear new puppy! A love in my life? I LOVE going to the movies at the movie theater. Nothing better than watching a movie on the big screen, IMHO. Can't for the life of me figure out why I picked a husband who HATES to go to the movies, though! Fortunately, I'm training my own boys very well, and they are both movie buffs, to my eternal pleasure.
love the snakes! the dp and coloring is wonderful! I never paid attention to this set set until now. I must have it now. thats for sharing!
Super cute Jenny! Is family eligible??? ;)
Jenny just found your blog and I love your cards! The doggie card is adorable. One of my loves are nice thick warm sweaters for cold and chilly days. Thanks for the chance to win this cute set. jeandonny2000@hotmail.com

Absolutely adorable card! I love how you added the blue around the outside puppies and the inside one too. It really adds something awesome! And I love how you said that it was puppy love in HS so that's why you made this card for your husband.
I like how you're doing your blog candy with this fun question! A love in my life right now is IKEA! I'm in the process of getting furniture with my fiance for our future apartment, and we have so much fun every time we head to IKEA and try out furniture. Plus, it also means we get to stop by the cafe and get some Swedish meatballs. Yum!
Thanks for the chance at such a cute stamp set! raecholor@gmail.com
The card is so wonderful and I love the creativity on it. I love the designs and everything in it. Surely your hubby would love it. Great job! :)
