{KKS Preview} Candy Girls

Such a fun day over at Kraftin' Kimmie stamps today!! Annie Rodrigue has illustrated a fun bunch of moonlight whispers, Candy Girls!
And we have a great sketch challenge this week as well:) You can see that over at the Kraftin' Kimmie blog!

I LOVE POPCORN!!!!!!! Yes, it is my complete and utter weakness. It doesn't matter what kind of diet I am *trying* to follow. If I've just ate a turkey dinner or am starving as can be, if I just got over the stomach flu....I will fit make any and all exceptions for popcorn!
So I was so thrilled to see this adorable Pippa Popcorn image (and I like her hair, cuz it reminds me of mine when it's really wild!)....

I used a flower MFT die to make popcorn accents- at least I hope that's what they look like!! I crumpled them up and inked them with yellow and caramel ink. Some black machine stitching and gold brads add some fun design elements. I did a fair bit of sponging on this one.....

Thanks for popping by (hehe)....and remember we have some FREE Candy Girl stamps to give away, so keep commenting!! xo

Hello!

Love your card - love everything about it! Popcorn is my favorite treat also! It is always amazing to me that one can go out to eat and a movie and after eating a full meal it is still a given that one has room for buttered popcorn at the movie! Wishing you a sunshine weekend!

Hugs,

Barbara Diane

I too like that the flowers reflect popcorn..I love subtle suggestions like that. It really shows that someone is really paying attention to detail and knows how to draw you into the "feel" of am image weather you realize it or not. Awesome job!

Such a fun image. I like how you used the die to mimic real popcorn. And, like you, popcorn is my weakness as well.
