{TSG202} Monkeying Around!

This week our There She Goes challenge is a colour combo! I thought the palette would make a nice masculine card, and so I made a Father's Day card from my '3 lil monkeys' to their daddy ;)

I used one of the best sets you can purchase from TSG if you have lil ones in your lives- Jungle out There! It goes nicely with our Zoo-Pendous set:) Both sets are great for so many occasions, scrapbook pages, invitations, birthday cards, baby cards, you name it!!

I coloured all of my monkeys to suit my boys' particular characteristics! The one on the left is medium in colour (E42, 43, 44) with blue eyes- That's Ryan. Centre monkey that's hanging upside down is my darkest boy (E43, 44, 47) with brown eyes- that's Jake. And my lil blonde haired, blue-eyed monkey on the right is Hayes. I used E41,42,43 for him. I gave them all pink ears, tummies and feet and I love the way this turned out. I used E95 for that. They are hanging off vines (linen thread from The Cat's Pajamas). I stamped a woodgrain BG stamp (MFT) onto the World's Best Die (TSG), and shortened it up using my paper-trimmer. The 'Dad' sentiment is from World's Best stamp set.

OMG- with three boys, it always feels like a zoo around here, so my hubby will get a kick out of this card!
I left loads of space for wacky, non-uniform kids writing. The boys love writing in their own names on the cards I made.
