{KKS} Vintage Christmas

This week our Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge is Vintage Christmas! Cheryl is our lovely hostess, and she has the gorgeous bird trio stamp from the set You're so Tweet up for grabs for our winner this week!

I have used an oldie on my card (you might even call her 'vintage' Kraftin' Kimmie!!), Piper! She is retired, but it looks like she's still available on our website HERE, so snatch her up before it's too late!

I love October Afternoon DP when it comes to those vintage, kitschy kind of patterns. I was doing a little shopping at my local pharmacy the other day, and they happen to have a few aisles of scrapbooking stuff and I found these adorable miniature trees by Prima. I am in love. I'm going to buy the other colour set today! This obviously adds some bulk to your card, so it's not gonna be an easy mailer, but that's okay with me :) Sequins are a fun, new trend and they always give a bit of a vintage feel, so I added some of those as well.
I coloured Piper with Copics, adding some pastels in there, as well as rock candy glitter and glossy accents.

The sentiment on the inside is from the set Grace (which happens to be on sale right now!)

Don't forget about our 12 Days of Krafty Christmas sale going on right now, where many of our favourites are on sale for a limited time!

I love everything about Piper, your papers and the little tree! I am working on Piper now and although mine will never look like this, I am inspired by your card!
