{TSG} Nordic Borders, Merry Christ-moose, Nice Rack

We at TSG love our holiday sets, and we love our animals, too…so whenever they can combine, we are THRILLED.  The new Merry Christ-moose set from Torico is no exception!

Merry Christ-moose is a 4x8 set that includes a total of 18 stamps and will sell for $18.

Made to go along with the Merry Christ-moose stamp set, Nice Rack has all those sentiments that may be a little bit naughty, but are definitely nice.

Nice Rack is a 3x4 set that includes a total of 7 stamps and will sell for $9. 

Torico has also created this GORGEOUS Nordic Borders set as well, which will add a finished, homey feel to any of your creations. 

Nordic Borders is a 2x6 set that includes a total of 3 stamps and will see for $3.

I made an 'ugly sweater' using an MFT die and the Nordic Borders set using Kraft, Red Hot and Gumdrop Green ink (MFT). I then stamped the moose head silhouette (from Nice Rack) in versafine black ink. The sentiment of course, is also from Nice Rack.

{SPD} Some Exciting News

GUESS WHAT???????

I have some VERY exciting news to share with you, that I've been sitting on for MONTHS! You know my super amazing, sweet, talented, fantastic stampy friend Wendy Ramlakhan? Remember the roof raising, earth shattering, heart stopping, jaw dropping announcement she made a few weeks back, that she is opening her very  own stamp Company SugarPea Designs, geared towards colouring enthusiasts and lovers of all things cute?! 

Well, I am so thrilled that she asked me to join her Design Team! Whoo Hoo! How great is that? I'll tell you. It's pretty freakin' great. Nuff said!

And guess what else? Peas are one of my very favourite vegetables, so I think this is extra cool and obviously meant to be. If her company would have been called, say Eggplant Expressions, I might have had to pass on the gig. As much as I adore Wendy, I loathe eggplant more ;)

Time for another challenge from Tiddly Inks!

I've used sweet Lilli Claire- Party Time on my card for this weeks Anything Goes challenge. I coloured up her present in red and green and used Christmas DP to make this into a seasonal card.

The vintage DP is by October Afternoon, and I added some sequins to keep with the retro look. Dies and button are MFT and some red jute adds some interest.

Here are the deets: I coloured up Cupid with copics and pastels. I added glossy accents and a bit of Rock Candy glitter to the wing and heart. Dies used are by MFT (circles, fishtail flags). I sponged the edges of the circles and the lightest DP using distress ink to soften up the white. I added some large black brads in the bottom corner. I think it's fun using non--traditional DP for holiday cards....this paper is actually Carta Bella's 'Well Played', which is a game-themed collection.

{TI} Throwback Thursday with ME!

Hi there! This week I am Tiddly Inks featured stamper for Throwback Thursday, where the TI designers showcase stamps from previous releases.

I chose to work with a really sweet stamp, Girl's Best Friend, for my throwback card. I am not even sure how long ago this digi was created, but when I first laid eyes on this girl and her pup, I knew I NEEDED to colour them up and get them onto a card! I love the way this card came together~ the sentiment is from TSG and I thought it went perfectly with the image :)

He is blushing, as he's about to confess his affections to his beloved Darla ;) hehe! I've used Copics and pastels for colouring, some machine stitching, MFT dies, an October Afternoon button, MFT hemp cord and my current obsession- Enamel dots!

I've used the current Deconstructed Sketch for inspiration (DS126).

It's time for NEW STUFF! We're kicking off the November Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Release with our brand NEW NOVEMBER Love Letters Krafty Kardmaking Kit!

I used some MFT dies (snowdrifts, snowflakes and circles), enamel dots, glossy accents and rock candy glitter. I've used this week's MFT sketch challenge for my card design.

{TSG232} Pattern Power

This week our challenge is brought to us by Sarah!  She has challenged us to make a card or project using patterns…dots and stripes specifically. She wants us to use both on our cards or projects!!!

Here's a closeup of the adorable bear from the set Life is A Circus! I pieced his outfit, and added some red brads for the buttons. The sentiment banner is actually a builder stamp, the dots, outline, sticks and words are all separate stamps! I popped the banner up on dimensionals.
For my card layout, I used the sketch from November's SFYTT!

{TI} Mother of Dragons

Any other Game of Thrones freaks out there?? My husband and I are hooked! We can't wait to get the boys tucked in at night and then we practically fight and push each other down the stairs, racing to the TV for our 'fix'! I was dying for a hot bath last night, so he had to wait for me to be done- you would have thought I spent our lifesavings on nickel machines at the casino, the stink-eye he gave me. Of course this girl reminds me of Khaleesi, with the baby dragons!

{Birdie Brown} Blog Hop for Torico!

Today we are having a very special blog hop, in honour of our friend Torico! She has made the difficult decision to close her Birdie Brown digi shop and have more time to herself. You can read more about that on THIS post. We wanted to do something special to celebrate such an inspirational, talented, and kind member of our little stamping community! I have had the pleasure of working with Torico at There She Goes stamps (she is a stamp illustrator and AMAZINGLY talented design team member for TSG) and she is such a sweet and supportive teamie! 

I have used one of her supah cute new Halloween images Zombie Girl for my card today. I LOVE LOVE LOVE colouring zombies (must be the decomposing skin)...this stamp was no exception- LOVE her!!
