It's that time again! SugarPea Designs July Release, and boy, is this one is a WHOPPER! You're gonna LOVE this release!! It might just be the best yet!
I love this little fishing racoon from our new set Great Catch! My whole family is big into fishing, and we have started taking the boys out and they love it too, so I can see this set getting a lot of use! I actually made this for my hubby's bday card, which was beginning of June, so I've had it made for awhile now ;) Using a circle die, I cut off the hook portion and then glued twine where the line was and added in a die cut heart at the end of the line. Which I thought was pretty sweet for my man…I wouldn't do that on every card lol!
I coloured him up with copics and added pastels. I used my colourless blender and made texture on the hat.

Love his blue eyes. The addition of the heart is really perfect. I like the striped paper and how the stripes on his hat go the opposite direction.
