TCP Green Santa

Happy Wednesday! It's -45 degrees celcius with the windchill, so school was closed and I have all my little boys home today:) I built a fire and the kids are happily playing 'farm' downstairs! Here is a card using one of the brand spankin' new sets from TCP!!

I've used the eco-conscious Santa, just one of the 10 new sets and the apron lace die, one of 4 dies. I tried to keep the theme 'green' so I used more earth tone colours, a little bit of cork and some fiber. See how nicely that die cuts through cork? A green cord button and some copper eyelets add some interest. I coloured the image with my copics, added some white shimmer paint to his coat, hat and beard and a teensy amount of spica clear glitter pen to the bows on the presents and gears on the glider (?)...the main panel and sentiment were sponged with kiwi kiss ink from SU.

Here is a closer look at that front panel. You can see the subtle shimmer on his furs and beard...Like the little red button nose?

Die cut cork and some more of that awesome BG patterned paper finish off the inside, as well as a sentiment that comes with the set!

Recipe:
Stamps (TCP), apron lace die (TCP), ink (memento, SU), CS (TE, SU), DP (basicgrey- jovial), twine (unknown), eyelets (unkown), cord button (SU), pearlized paint (SU), punch (SU), Copics, spellbinders, cork (MFT), sponge, dimensionals (SU), Spica
