{MFT} Teasers~ Day 2

Today, the MFT designers and lucky me, are showing off two new sets: Journal It Top Ten and Document It December. Now, I'll totally admit that this kind of creative set with tons of little elements is the kind of stamping that I find I struggle with the most! When I opened the release package, I was a little intimidated by some of the sets! I am really NOT as creative as you might think! I prefer more 'obvious' stamps (maybe that's why colouring is more my thing)...But I have found both the sets from today and yesterday (LJD Howdy and Western Backgrounds) REALLY easy to work with and I honestly think that anyone could come up with something amazing! I love all the little elements (arrow, checkmark, etc)...I felt almost like a scrapbooker there for a second:) It was really quite fun to put all the little bits and pieces together!!! 

I am on a Santa's List kick lately, hehe! I thought it would be humorous to include both a naughty and nice list on my card....looky there! I made the 'nice' list!!! Hubby did not (and I can't say that I'm the least bit surprised;) lol
I think he'll get a kick outta this card, although Jake is already quite worried for his dad...he really wants him to get on that nice list!!! Sweet lil guy:) I used the Banner Day Alphabet set to add my family's names to the lists, and added some poinsettias (cut using the Upsy Daisy die-namics- I think they are close enough;) 
The ribbon is from the Ribbon Carousel, CS and ink: SU (cherry cobbler, old olive, basic black, very vanilla) as well as versamark black ink and distress ink (tea dye). Loads of dimensionals make this a very layer-y card....not one to be shoved in a mailbox. I added black brads (Michaels) and a Notebook Edge border along the bottom.
