{MFT} Teaser Time- Day 3

The My Favorite Things design team has three new sets we are previewing today: Lovey-Dovey Sentiments, Inspired by Time and You Make My Day.

I tried my hand at the presently popular chalk board technique, and I gotta say, I am not really comfortable with it!! LOL! I tried doodling and adding things, but it just wasn't working for me.... I went back to the safe route and just stamped a verse from Lovey-Dovey in white pigment ink and then sponged around it a bit to give it that 'dusty' chalkboard look.
The pink dp is actually kind of a frame for the chalkboard. I centered a Heart STAX die-namic on the dp, ran it through my Bigshot and popped it up on foam tape over the stamped black CS. So I knew exactly where to stamp, I layed the heart cut DP over the black CS before stamping and then removed it, inked, and adhered the DP back on with the foam tape.

I used the Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose die-namic to make the flower accents. The rolled portion is made using 4 stacked layers of that pretty pink TISSUE PAPER that comes in your MFT packages!!! Do NOT throw anything away- trust me, you'll eventually need it for crafting! Hehe!

I cut a key out of silver CS from the Keys and Locks die-namic set- this is so fun!! I also used a lock for the inside!

Here are the new die-namics that I've used on this card:

Gorgeous card! Thanks for the tip about the tissue paper. I just put mine away from my purchase--never thought it would work with my flower dies, so that is the next thing I'm going to try!
